CenterPoint Pilates - Exercising the Body and Mind

Nia

Nia is a movement practice of The Body's Way / Your Body's Way to health, fitness and well-being; conditioning the physical, mental, emotional and spirit realms into self-healing. Participants are encouraged to explore individual and community expressivity through body awareness. Katas (movement sequences of stances, steps and kicks) and FreeDance are blended in each Nia Class fusing movement from the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. No previous movement or dance experience necessary; all levels are welcome.

Ken Gilbert teaches the Monday and Wednesday 5:30-6:25pm classes, and Cleo Hill teaches the Tuesday and Thursday 10:00-10:55am classes.
